Britannia brings new extractors to the UK

Britannia Living has been appointed as the exclusive UK distributor for Best, one of Europe’s leading hood manufacturers and the company that launched the world’s first decorative cooker hood. Britannia will be debuting this range of innovative designer hoods at the KBB Show, NEC, Birmingham (21 – 24 March).

Combining cutting-edge, contemporary design with superior performance, the range of 36 hoods comprises two beautiful collections, which have been designed to cover the full price spectrum, targeting the built-in sector.

Platinum is a premium offering with a selection of truly striking pendant, wall-mounted and downdraft models, which range from the dramatically styled Double Vertigo (pictured above) to the minimalist Azimuth. The unique styling is backed by the highest quality performance and patented technology, which includes tri-phase motors that cut energy-consumption by up to 55%; three dimensional wave filters to reduce noise and enhance grease capture and Advanced Sensor Technology that switches the hood on and off automatically when steam or odours are detected.

Best’s Silent Technology, which means that some of the models operate at an almost imperceptible 41dbA at low speeds, also ensures that they are the perfect complement for open-plan kitchens where entertaining is as high on the agenda as style.

The Living collection also provides the sophisticated aesthetics and advanced technology for which Best is renowned but at entry to mid-level prices.
Examples of the designs include the ultra modern, ceiling-mounted Lampedusa and the clean lines and simplicity of the stainless steel and glass Ice.
