Hoods Prove ‘Simply The Best’ For Britannia
Following the successful launch of the BEST cooker hoods at KBB Birmingham earlier this year, premium appliance specialist Britannia Living once again took the impressive collections to the Midlands – putting a range of models in front of consumers for the first time at Grand Designs Live.
Examples of both the BEST Platinum and BEST Living collections were on display – adding real ‘wow’ factor to the Britannia stand and drawing the crowds throughout the three days of the show. Hundreds of brochure requests were generated as a result, which were followed up immediately after the show.
The Lift downdraft model from the Platinum collection proved a particular show-stopper. This downdraft model in black glass and stainless steel is operated by touch control and can be housed in an island unit where it will hide itself away when not in use.
Henneke Duistermaat, Sales & Marketing Director at Britannia, comments: “Downdraft hoods are still a relatively new addition to the market and many consumers are not yet familiar with the concept. The clean lines of this model together with the powerful extraction were a real draw to consumers at the show.
“In the current economic climate, it was not expected that we would generate so many high-quality leads. Displaying these hoods at a consumer show has increased overall awareness for the BEST brand and that will certainly help our retailers generate more sales. The success of this show surpassed all our expectations and, with that in mind, we have already booked our spot for next year.”
