Lift downdraft hood features in Beautiful Kitchens magazine

When Frances and Peter Lester bought a Georgian home, they wanted a modern classic kitchen rather than something contemporary.

The centrepiece in the kitchen is an island with a purple work surface – made from recycled bottles. Frances recommends: “Don’t be afraid of unusual materials. I love the way our recycled glass worktops glitter and sparkle on a sunny day when the light streams.”

She was also adamant that someone cooking would not feel isolated from the rest of the kitchen. A cooker hood hanging from the ceiling was not an option and the Lift downdraft hood with an extraction rate of 800 m3/h was an obvious choice.

The black glass looks good with the black induction hob and purple work surface. As ducting through the concrete floor was not possible, they opted to have the Lift in recirculation mode.
