10 stainless steel island hoods
What type of stainless steel island hood are you interested in? Something subtle or something more glamorous? Or something with a more commercial look?
BEST offer a wide selection of stainless steel island hood styles. Some cooker hoods combine stainless steel with other material such as black or white glass.
100cm stainless steel island hoods
The Spark island hood looks like a commercial extractor. The Spark features a three-phase motor and LED lighting for energy saving. Thanks to Silent Tech the sound of this hood is almost imperceptible at low speeds. The Spark is a powerful hood with an extraction rate of 800 m3/h. Suitable for ducting out or recycling.
The Double Vertigo hood is the most eye-catching of our 100cm stainless steel hoods. Most people will probably take its flowing lines for a piece of art rather than an extractor. The Double Vertigo features an extraction rate of 780 m3/h and can be used in recirculating mode only.
90cm stainless steel island hoods
The Polar island hood is one of the most technologically advanced cooker hoods in our range. Thanks to its three-phase motor it saves about 55% of energy compared to hoods with standard motors. Silent Tech makes the Polar’s noise almost imperceptible at low speeds. The Polar island hood can be used for ducting out or recirculation.
The subtle looks of the Outline hood may remind you of a lighting design. Its five halogen lights of 20W each could illuminate a table as well as your hob. Shortening and lengthening poles are available to make the Outline suitable for ceiling heights from 2.08m up to 3.6m. The Outline is available as recirculation hood only.
Narrow stainless steel island hoods
Despite a diameter of only 320mm the Lampedusa island hood has an extraction rate of 630 m3/h. A single Lampedusa is suitable for hobs up to 70cm wide. Above a 90cm hob, however, you could install a powerful duo of Lampedusa hoods. This hood is suitable for ducting out and recirculation.
With a diameter of 455mm the Gloss island hood is slightly wider than the Lampedusa. The Gloss specifications are also slightly higher with 3 LED lights and perimeter extraction. The Gloss is suitable for ducting out or recirculation. Recommended for use above hobs up to 70cm wide.
The Lipari island hood combines stainless steel with either white or red translucent Lexan. The Lipari is the only island hood featuring Advanced Sensor Control. This feature allows you to operate the hood fully automatically. The Lipari is 504mm wide and is suitable for ducting out or recirculation.
Small stainless steel island hoods
The stainless steel Moon pendant style hood looks like the little sister of the Outline hood. Its simple circular style will look good in almost any kitchen. And why not have one or two above the table in your dining room, too? The Moon has an extraction rate of 390 m3/h and is suitable for recirculation only.
The Vintage pendant hood will turn heads in any kitchen – especially in a set of two. As for the Moon and Outline hoods, shortening and lengthening poles are available to suit ceiling heights from 2.08m to 3.6m. The Vintage has an extraction rate of 390 m3/h and is suitable for recirculation only.
The Vertigo is the single version of the Double Vertigo. While some may say it’s less impressive, others suggest it’s an even more elegant version. Like the Vintage and Moon island hoods, the Vertigo has an extraction rate of 390 m3/h and is suitable above hobs up to 70cm wide. Available for recirculation only.
